About/Bio
An extraordinary guitarist (electric/acoustic, rhythm/solo), producer, composer, gifted songwriter, melodic bassist and smooth sounding vocalist - Anthony plays all styles with creative, soulful passion. From fusion jazz, rock r&b, funk and country - His soulful guitar playing has been compared to many, including Steve Lukather (Toto), Grant Geissman, Jeff Beck, Michael Landau, Larry Carlton, Neal Schon (Journey), Eric Johnson, and Jimi Hendrix. What sets Anthony apart from most other guitarists, outside of his amazing tones and such versatility, is his extraordinary smooth vocals and melodic composing. Vocally, he has been likened to Gino Vanelli, Paul Carrack and Steve Perry.
His unique and creative guitar sounds have been heard on TV Movies (such as Discovery Channel, NBC, ABC & TV Commercials, Radio Jingles, Theme Songs for Talk Radio shows), Children's Albums (Greg & Steve) and his performances have been seen on VH1 with Richard Elliott & Tower of Power; and at countless concert venues!
Anthony's 2nd CD entitled "Return to Spirit" was just released in November 2008!! Many special featured guests on this CD, including Dan Siegel - a prolific contemporary jazz pianist and Jim Blair, touring and recording drummer with Spencer Davis Group, Shalamar and Luther Vandross, to name a few. His history as a session player and producer enable him to bring depth and dimension to any project! He is available today for producing, session work, concerts and touring!
Immersed in music since childhood, Anthony was born and raised in New Jersey, and started playing guitar at the age of 8, with the encouragement of his father (Louis Terrezza) who was an accomplished and recorded singer (pictured here). Anthony headed off to California at age 23, and has enjoyed a successful music career that includes recording sessions, tours, TV/Film, and songwriting. From New Jersey, California, Boulder, Colorado, Nashville, TN and back to California, Anthony's music continues to evolve and encompass life's travels and experiences.
Though Louis Terrezza is no longer on this earth to lend his encouragement and support, he always encouraged Anthony to follow his DREAMS!! To pass on his father's philosophy, Anthony encourages all around him, to never give up, stay focused, and keep your dreams alive!! Anthony's debut CD "Higher Ground" is dedicated in loving memory to his Dad.
