Guitarist, bassist, vocalist, songwriter composer and producer Anthony Terrezza’s latest CD Return To Spirit is a light jazz recording that captures all aspects of contemporary jazz ranging from melodic rock to blues. Return to Spirit is a light and fresh compilation showcasing the freedom of spirit and is a reflective work on the “spirit within” that for Terrezza is “fueled, impassioned and comforted by music”. Terrezza seems to be an artist that is able to transport one to a luminous and distant place and able to take the listener to a place of peace, similar perhaps of going for a nice long run in the thin crisp mountain air or out for a sail in the cool and salty sea breeze, always ending up in peaceful paradise. Return to Spirit simply grabs hold of the moment and gives it a sense of time without end. Notable cuts on the disc include: Seventh Ray, a free-flowing mellow tune with a new age feel; Thunder, a serene and calm, yet somewhat upbeat fusion jazz like cut; Return to Spirit, the peaceful c-jazz title track; Endless Journey a cosmic light rock vocal track and Planetary Blues a vocal bluesy vibe. Return to Spirit is a disc that will allow you to relax and find the tranquil peace within.

Wow! "Return to Spirit" is the second CD from guitarist, bassist, vocalist, arranger, and producer Anthony Terrezza. My first and lasting impression is one of pure amazement. This CD belongs right up there with the very BEST in the Jazz Rock genre. Anthony is truly one of the most talented musicians walking this planet and he has assembled some of the finest musicians (featuring Dan Siegel) to create a work of art that will take your breath away. "Return to Spirit" is extremely well performed and arranged, the production, first rate. Anthony’s sense of melody and composition is a joy to behold. His ability to seamlessly blend jazz, rock, and blues into songs that are so very RIGHT ON that you never tire of listening to them. Every listening puts me in such a good place and restores my faith in the GOOD that still exists in this all too often senseless and cruel world we live in.
